Nintendo came out and said they were working on the next hardware platform.

This probably doesn't come as a surprise to anyone that a company would start developing a new console, but I thought it would be a fun thread.

1. Should they drop the gamepad?
2. Should it be a bigger jump in processing speed this time?
3. Price point?
4. What else?

I didn't mind the game pad.
At first I thought it would become an annoyance however it was fine, even when I had people come over they didn't think it bothered them however we haven't really utilized it much, we always look at the tv to play.
Can't think of any additions since I've had this.

I think the gamepad is great. Playing off screen is fantastic. It works so much better than the remote play worked with the vita/ps4.

I certainly hope they take it to the next level.

Maybe a combo 3DS style gamepad that connects directly to the console much like the Wii U?

I meant the regular type of controller as a standard. I want the tablet controller thing, just want something regular for like Mario.

I bought the pro controller at the same time I got my Wii U, I like it better than the standard Wii remotes
I doubt they would include more than one remote
