What are the specializations within IT field?

I am looking to study Information Technology for my masters degree and I am wondering if anyone can give me an insight as to what the specializations within the IT field.

So far I found:

1. Networking Systems
2. Programming and Software Development
3. Interactive Media
4. Informationa Support and Services

Also, what exactly does someone do within each field?

networking services is pretty much creating networks local and wide area networks, implementing firewalls, vpns, etc.

programming is creating programs.

interactive media is more design and creative based. I guess it's somewhat web design but stuff like flash games comes to mind.

informational support and services is supporting a company or home users and fixing their computers.
