weird noise

Something in my computer is making a weird noise. It sounds like a light buzz saw. It only happens sometimes. Can my power supply unit be causing this noise? I want to get rid of it but don't know what may be causing the noise.

It's more likely noisy fans,just check that they are working once in a while.You can spend a lot of money on this or live with it as i do.

It could be noisy fans like bluto said, or something could actually be hitting a fans blade as it rotates. You could open up your case and check to make sure that there are no wires or anything else that are touching the fan(s) as it(they) spin(s)

Yeah, just have a look in the back. Its probably just the fan hiting a wire or something every now and then.
