Wedding speeches?

My best friend just left me a message today that he proposed and is getting married. I'm not sure of the exact date yet but he said he wanted me to be the best man. We have been like brothers since we were tots so this speech is really important. I'm just trying to get a head start on it and get some ideas. Thoughts?

Also if you want to input on the bachelor party that's cool. I'm kind of thinking Atlantic City since we could take a train down and it would be much cheaper than Vegas. I only say that since by the time I pay for airfare and a hotel I won't have a lot left to party and gamble with. I'm located in PA BTW.

Man only you know your friend. I would follow this format:

-Tell about your relationship with him
-Share his qualities
-Talk about him and his bride's relationship from your point of view
-Share her qualities
-Give advice you see fit
-Share what you predict their future will hold

The best way to reveal their characters will be to give stories.
