Don't take this the wrong way.
but...
the boat doesn't look all that good, (in either the first or second pictures). because...
it's on the same lateral plane as the fisherman, which makes the boat appear to be, 10 or 20 time the size of the man, (so ~50 - 120ft high), whilst it's clearly not a boat of that size.
it's in a different resolution,
the lasso tool isn't good enough and I think has missed something out, causing it to be quite 2D in apperance,
the light intensity on the boat is different to the surrounding lanscapes.
there is no shaddow of the boat on the water
causeing it to look like it's just been cut out and stuck onto the picture.
in the second picture, I think reducing the coulour saturation worked well (by turning the corn coloured grass grey), but you don't seem to have applied the same transforms to the boat, (which makes it stand out worse).
and the green spray on the grass and trees looks like green spray, all the untouched grey grass has definition from the original photo or rendering, but the grass that is sprayed green just looks odd because it's a near solid colour with no definition in it.
