it's a dell you can't change shit. yes it is a 2 gig and a 1 gig i had 1x1 id put another 2 in to make 4 but im running 34bit it won't show up. i was told programs/games still needing the ram will use all 4 but the operating system won't use it.

You know what? I also have 3GB of RAM too, lol. Well soon.. Parts on order. That's one of the reasons why I chose 3GB too because of my motherboard restriction and OS restriction of < 4GB. You can have 4gigs put in, but it won't read the full 4GB of RAM. Maybe 3.5GB at the most. I want to have a nice comfort zone between min and max requirements. Plus, I already had a gig of RAM in there .
