P Pensioner Beta member Messages 2 Feb 8, 2009 #1 My XP Desktop can see my Vista Laptop. My Vista Laptop CAN'T FIND my XP desktop. In Start>Network> I only see the Laptop and Internet Gateway Device UPuP. What can I do to find my XP desktop on my Vista laptop.

K KBM Beta member Messages 3 Feb 11, 2009 #2 They Changed the workgroup name in Vista to WORKGROUP. In XP it was MSHOME. Switch XP to WORKGROUP. That should work. I had the same problem.
