Vista keeps logging off

Well whenever I try and run downloads overnight or when I go to school when I come home my vista is always logged off and everything shut down of course... i turned off the screen saver and all that but still don't know what the problem is

nvm i figured it out, i had it set to sleep in 20 minutes or something in the power settings.

As i said. It sounds like the PC is crashing. I have had this happen to me a few tiems when i was downloading and encoding a DVD. I woke up to see that Vista had restarted. The downloads stopped and teh DVD wasnt burned. So again i suggest check your error logs.

where do i check for error logs?

Start>Control Panel>Classic View>Administrator Tools>Event Viewer.

Or if you have the Admin Tools located anywhere else go there and under Event Viewer.

Have you tried Contol Panel --> Power options, it may be logged off after some time.
