I agree totally with dyserq; Norton does suck, but McAfee is even worse. So whatever you do, stay away from those 2!

If anyone wants a laugh, my cousin's mum had paid £50 for NIS '05, then decided it was rubbish (i'm not sure why, but anyway), so she went and spent another £50 on McAfee!

Anyway, my recommend AV programs are:

AVG Free
AntiVir (free)
PC-Cillin
Kaspersky
F-Secure

If you want to pay for an anti-virus, get Trend Micro is the best I'VE EVER SEEN. It has a firewall, anti-virus, and a little spyware detector. And they all work VERY well. There is a trial version for free at their site (30 days). Then after that to get more updates, you pay $50 for a year.

ALSO, their customer support is great and easy to work with. I highly recommend you guys trying this out.
