I'm not sure what is going on. One day my computer is fine and the next some programs are going very slow.

What I have observed just makes me baffled because it makes completely no sense.

For instance.. lets say I open MSN Messenger and try to type.. I type my sentence and it takes 1-2 seconds to type out every letter after in finished. And it makes my whole computer slow. I cant do a thing till the message has been sent.

Ofcourse I observed my task manager and it seems that.. well its going really slow, but its using all the resources to type the message really slowly? this happens to my games, (not typing but just plain slowness and uses all my resources, cant do a thing till the task is finished.. sometimes I gotta restart the computer)

Anyways I've had my virus scanner pick up some Java viruses that I cant seem to get rid of and my Ez Anti-Virus wont delete them.. is this the problem? it wont let me and its the only thing that will ever show up on the virus scanner. would Java runtime kill my computer resources upon some programs?

for the java virus exploit byteverify do this

Click on Start->Settings->Control Panel->Java Plug-in and click on the Cache tab. Then click on the Clear button and hit OK.

if your still having trouble

Please do this. Click here to download Hijack This. Save it to it’s own folder (not temporary files or the desktop). Close all open windows and open HIJACK THIS. Click “Scan” . When the scan is finished (it only takes a second), the scan button will change to“Save Log”. Click on“Save Log” and save it to NotePad. Copy the entire log and paste it here. DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YET , most items that appear in the log are harmless or even needed. Wait for someone to analyze the scan and advise

Or you could go to control panel- accessiblity options. then on keyboard. unclick on the stick keys.

As of now im still having terrible problems with lagged typing and gaming and sometimes when the whole windows explorer doesn't respond on start-up when i log-in

FYI I pressed ctrl+E on the board to merge an image in photoshop and everytime i would try that it would say something around "Windows is terminating this program to prevent data disruption? and it said program Windows Explorer, made by microsoft. errr?

Hi Tabansi

Go to Add/Remove programs and remove(uninstall) the following, if present:

MsgPlus.exe
MessengerPlus! 3
WildTangent

The above could appear anywhere within the entry. Be careful not to remove any personal or system software.

===============

Run HiJackThis then:

1. Click "Config..."
2. Click "Misc Tools"
3. Click "Open Process manager"

-

Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following:

C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\MsgPlus.exe

Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain.

===============

Now, let's open a command prompt and unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following:

regsvr32 /u bpkwb.dll

It's ok, if these aren't found or 'error' out. If you want, just copy and paste the individual lines to the command prompt to save on the typing.

===============

Run HiJackThis and click "Scan", then check(tick) the following, if present:

O2 - BHO: SS Plugin Class - {1D1B2879-99FF-11E3-8D96-D7ACAC95952A} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\bpkwb.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MessengerPlus3] "C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\MsgPlus.exe"
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WildTangent CDA] "C:\Program Files\WildTangent\Apps\CDA\GameDrvr.exe" /startup "C:\Program Files\WildTangent\Apps\CDA\cdaEngine0500.dll"

O16 - DPF: {15AD6789-CDB4-47E1-A9DA-992EE8E6BAD6} - http://static.windupdates.com/cab/W...e/bridge-c9.cab
O16 - DPF: {1D4DB7D2-6EC9-47A3-BD87-1E41684E07BB} - http://ak.imgfarm.com/images/nocach...up1.0.0.8-2.cab

O20 - AppInit_DLLs: MsgPlusLoader.dll,wbsys.dll

O23 - Service: WinTools for IE service (WinToolsSvc) - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\Common Files\WinTools\WToolsS.exe (file missing)

Now, with all windows closed except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked".

===============

Locate and delete the following item(s), if present. Make sure your able to view system and hidden files/ folders:

folders...

C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3
C:\Program Files\WildTangent

files...

C:\WINDOWS\system32\bpkwb.dll

Note that some of these file(s) may or may not be present. If present, and cannot be deleted because they're 'in use', try deleting them from "Safe Mode".

===============

Run an online antivirus check from at least one and preferably 2 of the following sites....select autoclean click below

Housecall
Panda scan
RAV

Re-boot again. Then post a new HijackThis log to check what is left if anythig didnt get cleaned post the av log too
