video card upgrade

my computer is a dell dimension 9100
P.4 3.00 gh/z
1024 sd ddr2 533mh/z ram
160 gig, 7,200 rpm sata raid hdd
ati radeon x300 vid card, pic express......i think it is cause this comp is barely 1 month old.

and i have games like pariah, doom3 battlefield 1942, half life2, counter strike source, halo combat evolved, unreal tourniment 2004, far cry, and guild wars, with several mods for some of the games listed. but my x300 graphics card just dosent cut it. so could someone please find me a good card for a reasonable price that can play those games with ease. and by the way when i do the video stress test with counter strike i usually get about 59 fps.

ok thanks, but most of the games that i have say that the card recommended is the ati, and those are nvidea. so i take it that the geforce series is better then ati? radeons?

Uh, 6600 line is lower than the 6800 line. the 6600gt is the highest in its line and the 6800LE is the lowest in its line. you can unlock 4 more pixel pipelines and 6 vertex shaders with the 6800LE though.
