Video Card Question

when i plug in my other card the screens blank and the green ight on my monitor goes standby

ohh crap i didnt know i wrote alittle my bad umm my mother board has a built in graphic card which is NVidia and i have a nother graphic card i want to install and see if the graphics any different but its old. when i tryed it the screen was blank thats it. and i was wondering whats a good graphic card for a PII and i dont have a AGP slot i have four PCI slots

Dont forget to take the monitor cable and plug it into your PCI vid card.
