I have an EVGA 7900 GT, and it was a great card, but it is dying slowly. Textures, and geometrics are messing up in games witch sucks because I was in the middle of FEAR, and oblivion.

I have been riding this dying card for about a month now, and it is time to get a new card. I am a gamer on a budget (looking for a 100-150$ card *give or take), and I want the best possible value on a card with performance on mind.

A card that I have been looking into is http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3048552&Sku=P450-8650

I hope that you guys can post up your suggestions on a new card, because it looks like I'm going to have to order a new one with in the next 2 weeks.

i would go with 8800gts, ive got one, and its a HUGE difference over my 7800gtx, its awesome, get it!

i vote 9600 only if you have a pci-e 2.0 board, if you have the old x16, just go with 8800

PCIE 2.0 won't make a difference. The 8800GT is 1.0, and performs slightly better than the 2.0 9600GT.
