Video card decision.

Hey there, I'm currently shopping for a new Video Card and have come down to about three choices but can't decide which one. I'd like some feedback as to which one you think would perform the best.

i'd go with the 9800 GTX.....just my personal opinion.

I'd go with the 4850. It has comparable/superior performance against 9800GTX and is cheaper. (my 4850 beats my 8800GT into the floor)

1) He's asking out of those 3 cards or similar price range...not $100 more.
2) I would go with the 8800GT

#1 correct, the 4850's not in there
#2 incorrect, i've found 4850s for $170, thats like $15 more expensive than the 8800GT.

Well I was looking that the one you posted, which after the 8800GT MIR, would be $50 more expensive. For $15 I would take the 4850 no questions asked.

$50 isn't that bad for the advantages you gain with the 4850.

Just a really solid card in all results.


Plus you can drool over xfire till you get that 2nd 4850

That's a $35 difference. It all depends what resolution he runs and if he thinks he needs the extra performance.
