Vibration and Polystyrene

Hello,

I have a 60watt technics amp and two 70watt speakers, and i listen to music loud often.

I had the bright idea after buying my new wardrobes to make a stand for the computer to protect it against the vibrations, thing is, is it actually doing anything?

Added bonus to this is that is gives extra air flow to both intake and PSU.

However doesn't look great on desk. Worth the tramp stamp?

Hey personally I don't think your doing much at all, besides slightly better air flow.

I mean than polystyrene probably doesn't get rid of that much vibration and vibratio0n really isn't a huge problem in a computer. My PC runs in my studio with my 800 Watt sound system quite happily and i'm not talking 800 Watt as some surround sound systems claim in talking a proper live PA system.
