Viacom sues Google/Youtube for $1 Billion

Viacom never "signed" it so that really shouldnt be a factor because there not sueing the users. you cant right a Terms of Service to get around copy right laws.

It's not getting around copyright laws. It's saying that it's not Google's fault if copyrighted material is uploaded and they cannot be held responsible for it. Basically because it's also in the TOS that it's against the site's rules to upload anything copyrighted.

Google did nothing wrong.
