Oops, I had a typo, Major. Should have read:
"I am saying that an animal should not be looked upon as of the same value as human life. And there is a lack of sympathy." And, no, I really don't care about animals. I don't go out of my way to hurt them, but I eat them every day.

Man has raped and murdered since the dawn of time. No need to change that now.

Same as animals. And, in some areas of the world, there are still practiced without repercussions. But not where there are laws, set forth by the people, against this.

There is one major difference between humans and animals... society. True, monkeys hang out together, but it is not society. Same goes for wolves, whales, whatever.

Man is the highest being on the planet, able to think, reason, imagine, and dream. Animals can't.
