Using your video card to run Folding@Home

Wish they would allow 8800's to fold. I know they wouldn't compare to ATI but they could at least do something!

Did someone start a new thread yet? I voted other since I am running 1 8800GTS SC and 1 GTX 260 for around 11,000 PPD. Pushing 100k a week now thanks to Nvidia cards.

I actually use my PS3 to do folding @ home which folds very fast (0.1s/frame). Actually my team (Ps3forums.gr) is 517th in the total score, so i don't see why should i fold with my GPU.

GPU's are way faster than the ps3

PS3 = 900 PPD

8800GT = 4500+ PPD

GTX 260 = 6000+ PPD


Also we are ranked 318 and gaining quickly.

Congrats about the rating. At least my graphics card (ATI X1600) isn't fast for folding
