how do you do it...? I have it running through a dvd player...

s-video----> dvd player -----> red, white and yellow cables to tv...

is there a program I need to load or something...?

I think you plug the svideo cable into the graphics card and into the tv. Not sure tho

the graphics card s-video is hooked up to a dvd player, which is hooked up to a switch, which is hooked up to the tv with component cables...

this won't work...? because it's not working right now...

You have to extend the screen to the other monitor, the TV in your case.

if the s-video on your dvd play is suppost to go to the tv (output) then it woln't work.
