when I put my Microsd reader in my usb 2.0 slot there is a little beep but I cant access the files on it all y Usb drivers are up to date though...

Is it being detected properly, Does a popup come up saying that new hardware has been installed and is it showing in the device manager?

Are the files in a format that windose understands?

It's all fixed now I don't know what the problem was it started working again today... Weird...
