USB WiFi Router?

are there such things as USB WiFi routers? like if i have a wifi card for my pda, i want to be able to get online via wifi, i dont have a wireless router, and i would think that a usb router would be cheaper.

That is not a router.. that is an Adapter aka a wireless card device. so that you can connect to a wireless network.
