I have an AKAI EIE Pro USB audio interface connected to a Windows 11 computer.

Anyways when playing Fortnite mostly and sometimes while doing other things, the audio will start to gradually get distorted. I can power cycle the audio interface and it's fine until the next time it does it.

Ran just fine under Windows 10.

Any idea what the problem might be?

Why did you use Windows 11?

Wanted to go ahead and try windows 11 given I'd have to switch to it within the PC's usable lifetime anyways.

So far my experience with windows 11 has been very positive.

They use the same kernel, note the version. The only major difference under the hood is the new CPU scheduler used to grab Intel 12th gen customers which wasn't pushed to W10. The rest of the differences are walled or cosmetic. All the forced security or telemetry is still in W10 just not forced and can be easily disabled or removed in W11 same as W10.
