my computer isnt reading my usb as 2.0... what steps should i take so my system reads them as enhanced usb.

Is it USB 2.0? USB 2.0 is different from USB 1.0.

Sometimes theres an option in your BIOS that can change the USB 2.0 ports to USB 1.0. Its possible yours has this option and its enabled.

This is true. But you can't change USB 1.0 to USB 2.0.

Did you check your BIOS? I never heard of this problem before. Maybe its a hardware defect?

What is your mobo?

windowsXP?If so, many new motherboards need sp2 or no usb 2.0.

Just to add, did you make sure proper drivers were installed?
