Why is usb 2.0 able to get 480 mb/s but it never even uses of that?

If someone hasn't told you (Didn't read entire thread) then I will. There aren't many connections that actualy reach the Max throughput advertised.

Kinda like how if your running PCI-Express X16 your not even that close to using it all the bandwith it supports. In fact you dont even max out PCI-Express X8. So in reality its never going to run a 16, or even 8.
