Upgrading to 3GHz CPU, reinstall needed?

As the subject says im upgrading to a 3.0GHz cpu and just wanted to know if i have to re-install windows or anything like that? Better yet
Will i have to do anything other than plug and play?

No reinstall should be necessary. Make sure your CPU can handle the 3.0ghz and the 800fsb. I think it can, but double check.

Thanks Shawn! Always loved that Avatar you have....Anyways, my mobo can handle up to 3.2GHz so i should be ok,right?

I'm also looking to upgrade my power supply, because i'm still AGP will that affect which power supply i can buy? I've seen SLI enabled power supplies nowadays......what i'm asking is since my system isn't PCI will that affect me when i go to purchase a new power supply?

Yes, the chip will be fine and no, AGP or PCI-e will NOT affect your PSU selection unless your planning to use SLI.
