I have an older MacBook (A113) that is running OS Mountain Lion. I was wondering if I switch out the ssd for higher storage and the ram, if I could upgrade to High Sierra?

I don't think you need higher SSD for the update to High Sierra, but the computer might be running slow, but not snail slow as I far as I'm experiencing.

I also have such a problem, new updates did not arrive on my poppy, I don’t know what to do with it because I want to receive new updates from apple. Who knows what to do?

I had the same problem. I did not understand how best to do so that everything would be fine, the macbook stopped sending me update notifications, it bothered me because of security. Then a friend advised me to try click here. I quickly understood and solved the problem. Try you too.
