If I upgrade my system, will it delete all of my information?

Please don't upgrade. Back up all your files and burn them to disc or an extrenal drive and then reformat and do a clean installation. Upgrading will carry all issues up with it from your existing OS.
The next issue is do you really need the xtra networking capabilities from pro version as tha is basically the only difference between Home and Pro.

i did it. everything worked fine, a software that i was trying to install previously that didn't want to continue installing works perfectly.
