Upgrading computer( Need Recomendations)

I wanted to upgrade my gaming system and need some recomendations. This is the system i have now:

Cpu: AMD Athlon Xp 3000+
Motherboard: Asus A7N8X-E Delux
Memory: 1Gb= 2* 512 pc 3200 DDR
Graphics Card: Ati Radeon 9800 xt 256mb

Power Supply: Enlight Atx 420W

I want to upgrade the Motherboard, CPU, Graphics card and Ram. I want to do the best upgrade combination with around 600-700 dollars. Also with the new upgrade will i need a new power supply. Would also like advice if it is worth doing now or should i wait?

This build is not for overclocking. Also, the graphics card is mid-range, so it can't play DirectX 10 games, but it should play here-and-now games just fine.

Overall, it should be a nice improvement over your previous computer.

That build will totally destroy what you have now. You'll see a huge difference, I wouldn't hesitate to upgrade.

Alright forget that, 450 is too much for a graphics card right now. I was wondering how much better is the eVGA GeForce 7600GT 256MB pci express card than my ati radeon 9800xt 256 card?

It's just no contest. The 7600GT absolutely destroys that card.
