I'm having major stability issues with the wireless connection from
one of my PCs to my landlords router. My laptop, an IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad x60s with some intel abg wireless card is pretty stable, but my main PC with a 3com abg pci adapter (3CRDAG675B) looses it's connection very frequently. The router is a D-Link DI-524.
I've pasted an excerpt from the log at the bottom of this post.
00-24-... is my main PC which I'm having connection problems with. It receives IP address 192.168.0.133
00-14-... is my laptop which is pretty stable, with IP 192.168.0.151.
00-13-... is a to me unknown PC, perhaps my landlord's (I'll check this later) which gets the IP 192.168.0.113.
(Removed a few "Unrecognized attempt blocked from xxx:1149 to yyy UDP:9747" and similar, which I believe is normal)
What does the repeated log-entries here mean? Especially the very frequent association/reassociation and disassociation of 00-13-..., the also somewhat frequent ***/reass/disass of 00-24 (my pc), the TCP reset of my main pc and laptop and the ADPM messages?
Edit: My laptop runs ubuntu 9.10, my main pc runs windows 7 and kubuntu 10.04 rc1, and I've also tried using a d-link dwa-160 wireless usb dongle on my main. Win7 is perhaps a bit more stable than linux, especially with the dwa-160.
