When I first bought my PC second hand, it already had a cracked copy of doom 3 installed on it.
I couldn't remove it in the add/remove list as although it was there, there was no button for uninstall. So I just deleted the folder in the Programs List.
Now I have a perfectly legal copy of Doom 3 and it won't let me install. I get the message that it is already installed. It is still listed on my add/remove software list and everytime I try to install it now I get another showing on my list!
I have run RegCleaner and removed all reg entries to do with Doom 3 and Id Software, but that hasn't worked.
Anybody got any ideas???
