I've just purchased a Twin HDD Caddy. One of the features of this caddy is to be able to set up JBOD.

Computer Managment - Convert to Dynamic Disk - "The operation is not supported by the object".

Both disks are detected and show separately, I would prefer them to be as one is there anyway this can be achieved.

I'm running Win 7 (I do have laptops running Vista and XP ?)

JBOD is not fault tolerant. If you lose one drive you lose the volume. Not really worth the risk.

I'm fully aware of that, the reason I brought it was I had two external HDD's floating around and wanted an enclosure for them.
There both around the 300GB Mark combining them would better suit my needs.
