So I bring my Xbox over to my friends house and connect to his wireless network. From that moment on his NAT went from type 1 to type 3 and I lack the knowledge to fix it, I DMZ'd his Xbox but I couldn't set a static IP yet even the DMZ didn't restore his connection. He has a cheap router provided by his ISP and I have a bit of difficulty configuring it. (can hardly ever find the gateway IP (/ipconfig doesn't work on his win 7 *blah*) Right now I'm planning on buying a modem and just making another internet entry point in his room. But if I can configure his router it might improve the connection for everyone else in the house.
