Troubleshooting Bluescreens

How often do you get them? Randomly? Doing something specific? You could try booting into Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking and see if you still have issues.

Sorry for being gone for w a while, but yeah I get them pretty often, but it depends on what I'm doing. If I am doing anything demanding for my computer it happens more then, but it still happens when I'm just browsing the web and such. I have noticed though that it occurs a lot when switching out of fullscreen apps specifically. I also tried under safe mode with networking and the bluescreens still happened.

Ok some more info, the system automatically tried to do a disk check after this one bluescreen, but as soon as it initiated the disk check, it went into a 0x74, which I haven't seen before and then tried to do another disk check which resulted in the same thing. Is this pointing to the hard drive being the problem?

0x74 points to registry hive corruption.

I would highly suggest doing a chkdsk on the drive.
chkdsk /f /r

Ok so I did a chkdsk and so far there haven't been any bluescreens. Hopefully that was it, I guess I'll be back if more happen.

Ok so I had a few more, but I've noticed that they happen at very specific times:

0x7A: this one occurs only during solo queue of PUBG so I'm going to assume that one is probably related to the game

0xF4: this one occurs when I try to download files from game stores (steam and origin). I can download really big files from chrome or wherever, but for some reason my computer doesn't like downloading things from these kinds of software. It doesn't occur instantly, so when downloading games I download lets say 10% then bluescreen, then start again and so on until I've finished downloading it. I thought it might have been steam, but it occured on origin and uplay too so I'm not sure what that one is. thoughts?

Well after some further research, I've managed to finally get a minidump of the bluescreen. What does it say is going on?

I don't remember - have you tried a different SATA cable?

Have you also tried a different SATA port?
