ok well i have a new Compaq presario cq50 i think thats right.
anyway recently the touch pad has stopped working the left and right buttons don't work either.
and then sometimes without restarting itll start working again.
and then itll stop a few hours later, ill try a restart and a shutdown but to no avail it still doesn't work again
i checked the synaptics pointer device drivers and there all up to date, it says the device is working properly but on the bottom left system tray the synaptics icon isnt there, just a blank spot.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
