To SSD or not?

I'm really considering purchasing a little 64GB SSH for my MacBook Pro (in addition to the 500GB HDD that I already have in it, I'll just swap the optical drive out).

I plan on splitting it up to 2 (or possibly 3) partition for Mac OS X, Windows 7 (and maybe Ubuntu). I'd leave all of my games and media on the 500GB HDD, and use the SSD just for the OS and software.

I'm pretty sure that it's going to be close when it comes to filling it up. Is it safe to fill an SSD close to its overall capacity?

Thanks.

I went ahead and purchased the Corsair V64 Nova 64GB SSD for $150 at CompUSA (yeah, I have on near me). I know I could've gotten it cheaper online, but oh well.

I'm TOTALLY satisfied with the performance. EVERYTHING is just sooo much faster in both Snow Leopard and Windows 7. I'm just waiting for my little caddy so I can add this AND my HDD into my MacBook Pro at the same time.

Here's a little benchmark:
