So I was wondering about reading some books before I enter school again.

However, how is it that I should read the books?I'm not in school so there are no tests.

My brother taught to survey the chapter, read the paragraphs and make a subheading into a question. This way,i have to answer the question and think.

Now,this takes time.
I was wondering,do I have to write the answers down.I can very well make up the questions and answer it in my head.

It would make sence and help with reading books about that subjects your going to persue in school. although writing down answers helps, but in your case studying is the key.

for instance if you wanted to take a certain math class, then reading up on that subect will help you futher along and prepare you for what is to come. so matching up books with the subect i suppose will help.

-edit-

getting books at your local library is a start, if your interested in buying the books your really interested in, then hit up a book store. hope that sheds some light... :p
