Time Warner Offers Free Wi-Fi in NYC

I think it is awful nice of Time Warner to offer free Wi-Fi in New York for all its customers. Other internet service providers could take cues here and do the same (in other cities too).

Time Warner Cable has launched free Wi-Fi for all 1 million of its New York City customers. According to Time Warner, customers can connect to "thousands" of high-speed Wi-Fi hot spots around the city starting Thursday. Time Warner Cable subscribers will have unlimited access to the Wi-Fi services, which run on Cablevision's Optimum Wi-Fi network that launched in 2008.

Been a Time Warner customer for several years. Never had a problem with them.

I am because they took over Adelphia. I think it would be sweet if they would get some like 4G network going or something and let you connect to it wirelessly for free whenever you travel if you buy their internet.
