Well that motherboard isnt compatible with either of those CPU's,For example if you get the Phenom you will need an AM2+ Socket motherboard and if you get the Core i7 you will need an LGA1366 Socket motherboard.

well the first 2 CPU's you chose would perform better than that 3rd one so you could possibly change the motherboard instead of the CPU.

Any of these will work with the Phenom II

Any of these will work with the Intel I7

yeah and you will save a whole lot more buying the Phenom II over the intel counter part. It may not perform as well in "all" applications but comes really close in "most". You can actually get the Phenom II 940 BE for the same price as the 920 right now if it is still on sale as well which offers .2 Ghz more clock speed and also an unlocked multiplier for overclocking...
