people with a basic knowledge of linux/mac command prompts will know what it means.
 
Lol, using the Sudo command in Linux is like clicking on "run as administrator" in Vista. It gives you something called "Super User" privileges.

It's one of the commands you HAVE to know if you are working with Linux.

yea so basically its like telling the computer to do something normally and it doesnt work, so then you do "sudo *whatever*" and then it does it no problem. same thing in that comic
 
yea like if you do "makefile" or any other administrative command to a system folder, or any other type of important file for the computer, it will tell you access denied. you do sudo makefile and it will work.
