Im going to assume that they're dust inside the lcd? I'm not sure.
Could be. Even the expensive monitors are cheap and clattily built. There is a glass screen between the actual screen and outside and this is NEVER sealed. Dust and in my case, thrips, (look it up,) got between my screen and the outer protective layer. I think though that yours looks more like some sort of crazing rather than dust or thrips.

I don't think I can fix this by myself if its crazing. I might need to buy a new monitor in the future if it gets worse. This monitor has been here for 10 yrs now. Thx for the help btw.

It kinda looks like there is a separation between the led panels inside the screen, and it is showing a light leakage. I would suspect old age as you stated. You may be due for an upgrade now
