The new Star Wars movie

JJ Abrams is directing (he did all the star trek movies).

Only did the new star trek movie and finishing the second new one to be released this year.

There is such a cult following around Star Wars that I wouldn't want to be in the postition to try to revive the series

No matter who produces/directs the new series they will follow it with eagerness.

The critics will have to wait until a new release before people can give judgement.
