also, hydrogen cars are being put into effect next year, bmw or honda is selling one, with a charger that provides energy to your car and house

Not exactly sure what happened this weerk, but we are going to see petrol price come back down to pre-Katrina price at the beginning of next week.
And they are hoping that we are back to about AU$1 a litre by chirstmas.
Please note that this is the australian market.
 
evidently no-one understands oil recovery though :p, the higher the price "the more oil" there is. in other words the more it costs the larger oil reserves are, as oil reserves refer to the amount of economically recoverable oil. so i don't see oil running out any time soon but it may well become completely unaffordable.

the hydrogen-oxygen fuel cell may be a viable alternative......heck it even produces water :p take that Water Board and water restrictions
