3. £399 http://www.grapevinecomputers.co.uk/

My Budget is around £350ish pounds.

Should I stick with a tried and tested name like dell or go for another?

I have a wireless monitor and keyboard already.

Please help me decide.

Regards :D

thanks mate well old computer broke down and I ve been advised I might as get a new as the cost of fixing my computer will be very high

also will pop into grapevine and se what they've got

ps I dont play games, usually browsing, downloading and burning dvds, also i have a tv card to watch football via euro channels and also watching streams, and digi camera

Well if you watch TV and perhaps record TV, then a Celeron would struggle for you (The Dell has a celeron)....If i had to choose out of the three, I would go for Option 1. Should be great for what you say your going to be using it for..

I thought a "dual core processor" was all the rave these days? Is there any difference or is it just the same as other processors but with a jazzy name?

basically, its two processors on one chip. it increases your performance by almost 100% if you multi task.

so basically a Dual Core Processor 2.80GHz is just 5.6MHz processor?

also what does the 800MHz mean beside it?
