Entry Rules

1. Promoter - Tech-Forums

2. Eligibility - Any and all members are encouraged to enter. Show us what you got!!

By submitting an entry, the contestant agrees Tech-Forums can use the image for any purposes of promoting or marketing TF. The contestant indemnifies TF for any and all situations concerning the entry.

3. Prize & Prize Collection - The winner's image and information will be presented on a seperate web page specifically designed for announcing the talent and effort gone into the image.

4. Participation - Participation in the competition constitutes the entrant's unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these General Competition Entry Rules. These rules may change from time to time. The Entrant is responsible for insuring his or her familiarity with the General Competition Entry Rules at the time of participation. The Promoter's decision not to enforce a specific restriction does not constitute a waiver of that restriction or of the General Competition Entry Rules generally.

Standard Guidelines

The following are the standard guidelines for each monthly contest unless otherwise noted at the beginning of the next contest:
  • All entries will be posted in a specified thread. Only the image may be posted and underneath it the software used. No further text may be in the post. It will just get edited out.
  • Do not resubmit an entry. Take your time on your first submission. Your post will read "Last edited by your name...." if you do replace an entry and that will disqualify it.
  • Each member will only be allowed one (1) entry per contest. More than one entry will disqualify that entrant.
  • Entries must be in .jpg format. Any image not in this format will be disqualified.
  • Images must be 100kb in size or less. Any image over 100kb will be disqualified. Be sure to optimize your image.
  • If an image is presented to work with, the final image must be recognizeable from the original image.
  • No obscene, rude or generally offensive entries will be allowed. i.e. political, nudity, racial (generally what is and isn't allowed on Tech-Forums). Any members violating this rule will be disqualified indefinetly from any further contests.
  • Each entry must remain the same size in pixels as the original. Any variation from the original size will disqualify that image.
  • Admins and S-mods will determine the finalists which will then be voted on by all.
