Yes, but we get screwed over even more. We pay tons more than the gov. gives us back. Every two weeks, I pay a total of $500 in taxes and other deduction crap. Throughout the year, I pay well over 12x500= $6000 in taxes!!!!!

All I get back is $1,000-$1200.

and the taxes are for good reason. without those taxes you wouldnt have police officers, fire fighters, schools, parks, roads, a military, and anything else the goverment pays for. think about where that money goes before you start complaining about how much you have to pay. for all the lovely freedom we get, i think its well worth it.
