Hello. I have a computer that is NOT able to create a system image backup.
*It says I am missing the NTSF file system. (that's a little amazing...I bought this refurbished thing recently).
1. Can you safely download this thing for free?
Also, I have an Intel 4000 gpu card. My Adobe photoshop says in order to work it needs to upgrade the driver.
but says I should back up my system for safety reasons.
Question: Why does it ask this question besides not having this driver it wants?
And do I need a hardware upgrade to fulfill it's requirements?

Thanks for any and all responses.
Bye

You should first provide the exact details of this computer and also which OP system is installed.
You said it was refurbished. Consequently, it would also be necessary to know what computer it was originally and what was upgraded or rebuilt there. Tell about this all very exactly.
Once we know all this, you can start talking about mistakes and problems, also very exactly what is missing, what needs to instal, what needs to upgrade.
If You don't know all this, it is highly recommended that you consult a computer specialist.
You can only get help online if you know all the problems very precisely and you are more or less aware of the computer, ie how computer works and what there must be installed and what not.
PS. No program needs a driver. The driver itself is a snippet or piece of a program that connects your computer's OP system to other devices.

Thanks for responding! It'll be a slow process. The drivers are customized...so I am not changing anything until I know what should happen. I will contact HP to see what they say. I have to.

If you are running Windows it should be running NTFS, this is how the HDD partition should be done on install. If you are not running Windows you'll need to find another backup software to use that isn't limited to NTFS.

Photoshop isn't going to run so great on an older IGP, or the CPU it's attached to.

Telling you to backup is just standard "cover my ass" practice. Updating the driver shouldn't be an issue.
And do I need a hardware upgrade to fulfill it's requirements?
It's a possibility.

HP shouldn't be using customized drivers for a standard machine. If they are, you'd need to provide more details like Kalju suggested before moving forward.

I am going to check this all again. I am running Windows 10 pro 64bit...so where this "no NTSF" file program thing
came from I'll have to check again. And I don't know if its a good idea at all to 'upgrade' or change the driver...if the hardware piece is
not up to the task. (Basically there could be problems with doing that)
I am going to try a create a "system image" again. That's where that ntsf file error message came from.
I like the idea of backing up your system.

There is no harm in updating a driver.
One of the options highlighted when I was looking to create a system image was the Hard Drive of the machine I am using.
Not sure why that would be a part of the list. If I was going to do that I'm thinking it would be something 'external' to that
like a usb I have. (It wants actually a separate disk which I can get if I want.)
Also, I worked around it. It said the usb (or recovery drive) did not have that file system. But...I worked around that. Hmm...??
