Swapping HDD

My net book recently broke, I dropped it. It was an Asus EEE running xp. I was wondering how i could temporarily put it in another laptop(toshiba). So i can access my files, with out changing anything(or not a lot) to the toshiba. Is this possible. Basically I would like to be able to switch between the two HDD with ease and not mess anything up. Thanks

PS the toshiba is a satellite l305-s5955 and the asus was an EEE pc 10008ha

prolly not if you can only put one HDD in the toshiba like most laptops mainly because the drivers are different etc so it woldnt even boot

Okay, that's what i was kinda figuring, that all the drivers would get fucked up.Oh well, thanks anyway. Do you think there would be a way i could dual boot of two different hdd, like install the drives for the toshiba onto the asus one with out formatting it?

you might be able to im not sure you could always partition the drives and do it that way
