I don't own a smart TV but for years I have been connecting laptops to big screen TVs with HDMLs. I would like to get a streaming device that can be used as a 'stand-alone', meaning without needed a device such as a phone or computer to stream from. What are my best options for streaming a variety of websites online?

I used to connect my laptop to the TV with HDMI cables too. When I finally decided to get a streaming device, I went for a Roku. It’s super user-friendly and doesn’t need a phone or computer to stream. You just connect it to your TV, set up your Wi-Fi, and you’re good to go!
