I recently downloaded Story2Go Book Creator from the app store, because they are having a free startup promotion.
The software promises to be a a turning point in digital publication that enables you to create apps, interactive books, or web books without any computer training.
It turned out to be one of those few editors that keeps it's word.

I never saw anything about creating actual apps. It says create your own app from your book. I'm guessing it's very limited if it is app making, but I do not see indication that it is used for making apps. I think you can put your book in the form of an app on apple store.
