stick with 98 if it runs fine, no need for updates. Just buy a second drive and a double ribbon IDE, and hook it up. Get the bios to get it, and partition it in windows. If your happy with what you have, dont listen to the fools about you must upgrade to xp. Seriously, not everyone wants to play with the newest toys.

Yeah; XP is just unstable, crashes all the time; In my opinion Windows ME (which everybody seems to hate) is better

well most systems are good as long as the user don't do something stupid & screw it up....

i know that there are viruses out there that can totally
screw up a comp; but that's when we pull together to help one another & rid of these menaces.

i think u got enough opinions ..but if u want the advice u have 2 take the opinion which says 2 put an extra HDD as a Slave HDD beside ur HDD>>
and in my opinion the Win 98 is the so good when it is compared 2 the winme ...
use ur PC till the death ....unless if u like 2 play games so then u have 2 upgrade
